No, being a native Arabic speaker is not required. However, for teaching Qur’an or Arabic language classes, fluency in Arabic is essential to ensure accurate pronunciation, understanding of grammar, and proper guidance for students. For Islamic Studies or related subjects, teaching can be done in English or other supported languages, so strong subject knowledge and communication skills are the priority. We value passion and expertise just as much as language background.
While we recommend dedicating at least 5 to 8 hours per week to ensure consistency and meaningful student progress, we also understand that everyone’s availability varies. We work closely with our teachers to create flexible schedules that fit your life, whether you prefer a lighter load or want to take on more hours. Our goal is to balance quality teaching with your personal and professional commitments, so you can feel comfortable and motivated.
Absolutely! We provide a comprehensive onboarding process designed to prepare you fully before your first class. This includes detailed training on our teaching platform, access to instructional tools, guidance on classroom management, and sample lesson plans to help you get started smoothly. Our team is also available for ongoing support and feedback, so you’ll never feel alone on your teaching journey—we want you to feel confident, equipped, and ready to inspire your students.
